Local Industry consists of the paper mill - Currently NewPage.

The logging mill was started by Francis Biron in about 1839-1840 and was owned by Consolidate Papers, Stora Enso N.A. and currently NewPage.

Also, located in Biron are several cranberry marshes.  These help attact the wildlife that we so enjoy viewing.
